Eric Stanton

Eric has served as a Trustee for 12 years.  He was appointed Trustee in 2013 to fill a Village Board vacancy.   Eric has since been serving the residents of South Chicago Heights.  During his 12 years as Trustee, he serves as liaison to the South Chicago Heights Building Department and the Zoning and Planning Commission.  Eric values the integrity of this village and honored to be part of its contining success.  

Civic Service & Involvement

He served on the South Chicago Heights Beautification Committee since 2005 to 2013. He also served as a member on the Zoning Board from 2010 to 2013.   Eric volunteers his time and supports to the numerous community events. e.g. Memorial Day Ceremony, summer concerts, senior picnic, back-to school picnic, Trunk or Treat, delivers Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to residents, and Breakfast with Santa.  He also volunteers his time to the community Little League and has couched baseball for over 16 years. 

Education & Family

Eric is a Bloom Trail and Prairie State graduate.  Eric is a journeyman electrician and is certified in industrial maintenance as well as HVAC.  

Eric has been a resident for 25 years. He is married to Lisa and they have two sons, Mitchell and Dominic. Eric values the integrity of this village and is proud to be a part of its continuing success.
